Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is ideal for a certified Speech-Language Pathologist interested in working part-time with elementary students during the remaining 2026 school year. The position involves providing specialized speech-language support within an elementary school setting.
Location: Joliet, IL
Duration: Full semester contract from January 5th to May 29th, 2026
Schedule: Part-time hours
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to elementary students to support communication development
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to integrate therapy goals into students daily learning activities
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and treatment plans in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and communicate effectively with parents and school personnel
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Illinois State Licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
- Professional Educator License (PEL) Endorsement for SLP
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with elementary-aged students is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with educators and families
